A new clean identity
Brushtec specialises in the consultancy, design and manufacture of brushes for a range of industrial uses.
Whilst a modern and forward thinking company, their existing identity hadn’t been touched since shoulder pads were in fashion. They were in desperate need of a re-fresh to match the quality of their product.
Brushtec old Identity
Brushtec were keen for the new identity to convey their innovation and commitment to research and development. We were also challenged with the task of incorporating a ‘brush’ element into the final marque.

Using a classic san serif face as the base, we created a bespoke typographic identity that we feel is modern and progressive. We gave the face gradiating tones that contrasted perfectly with the vivid green palette to give an overall strong and contemporary identity.

However, there is one area we have overlooked; our company brand. Brushtec’s image had not changed since the company was founded 20 years ago.
The old image did not portray the well-organised, forward-thinking company we are. With the aid of Urban River, we’ve developed an up-to-date company image which represents the cutting edge company we are today.”
