Community Counts with… Helen McArdle Care is a new concept in charitable giving, whereby a percentage of their care home’s profits go to local causes and the residents of each Home get to choose which cause the money goes to!
Working closely with Helen McArdle Care we designed and built a unique nomination and voting system to offer the best user experience possible.
Website Design
Anyone can nominate a charity local to them. Simply enter the charity’s details in the nominations form. A tabbed panel was designed into every page giving all the information people need.
How nominations work
Nomination Form
A flash voting application was designed to work directly with the CMS allowing for fresh content to be added to the site and nominations and current voting figures to be viewed.
Voting Podium
Special overprinted voting cards are handed out to each member of staff and the care home residents with a unique voting reference number.
The lucky charities that receive the most votes can win awarded a jackpot prize of up to £5000.00!
