A South Tyneside based design and marketing company has been recognised amongst Europe’s elite in the 2006 European Logo Design Annual.

Urban River is one of just eight UK companies included in the prestigious publication which defines excellence in European design.

Carl Buckley, Managing Director of Urban River, enthused about the news: “We are delighted to be included in Eulda for the first time. It is a great achievement for a company in just it’s fourth year of trading, and we are looking to build upon this success in forthcoming years.”

Urban River achieved the nomination for their development of the Saba Prams brand.

Paul Slater, Founder and Director of Urban River said, “The creative brilliance of the Saba Pram provided great inspiration to develop a highly recognisable brand, and we’re all extremely pleased that this has been acknowledged globally.”

Carl added: “Urban River have mostly worked with clients within South Tyneside and the North East of England, however recognition such as that by Eulda will enhance our reputation within the national and European market.”

Graeme Land, Managing Director of Saba Prams congratulated Urban River on achieving their recognition saying: “The recognition is definitely merited, we have had lots of positive feedback on the logo and Saba brand.”

 

Eulda is the first and only award scheme in the world endorsed by international design associations including the Pan-European Brand Design Association and Consumers International.
