Neon Legal provide a comprehensive pensions law service to employers, trustees, members and other professional firms throughout the UK.
Urban River designed Neon Legal’s identity back in 2011 as well as a holding page. When they looked at improving their online presence they came back to us to design and build their website.
To expand on their holding page, Neon Legal wanted a website which showcased their services and introduced potential clients to the Newcastle-based legal team.
Neon Legal has been recognised by the Legal 500 as a leading law firm and Urban River were tasked with creating a site which was professional, yet displayed the company’s individuality and distinctiveness in the marketplace.

The old site
Neon Legal’s original holding page website featured an introduction to the company, the clients they serve and contact details of the company’s partners.
We designed the site so it was consistent with the company’s recent rebrand.
Although it was sufficiently branded, the holding page did not present Neon Legal’s individuality, range of services or the experience of their staff.
Urban River designed a sleek website which presents clearly the 5 main services Neon Legal provide; Restructuring & Wind-ups, Disputes, Trustee Issues, Documentation and Legal Issues.
The new website introduces visitors to the 6 members of the Neon team. Neon believe that having hardworking and dedicated staff is key to the success of their business so it was essential that this was a main feature of the site, allowing potential clients to see the high calibre of the workforce.
The website is responsive which means it responds to the device web visitors are using to view it. This optimises its content (words and images) to various screen sizes. This wasn’t a specific requirement of Neon Legal’s but we like to ensure our clients move with the times so offered them this additional functionality.
