On the back of a successful Local Enterprise Growth Initiative bid (LEGI) from Central Government, Urban River was asked to concept, design and produce a range of materials to support a start-up campaign encouraging South Tyneside business growth.

We created advertising and supporting materials to promote self employment across the borough through the ‘South Tyneside Means Business’ campaign.

The marketing support and deliverables we provided promoted the emergence of a Business Forum which is now very popular is South Tyneside.

The Forum is an independent organisation run by, and for, members of the South Tyneside business community.

Targeting and media

We also created a specific targeted campaign to encourage the retail sector to interact with the Councils Business Development Team.

We implemented a range of engaging media through bespoke photography, innovative promotional items and an effective direct mail campaign.
