A new business startup aiming to bring delicious, healthy and balanced meals to individuals and companies across Leicestershire.
New business startup Love Lunch Catering approached Newcastle web design Urban River to create a brand and website for their lunchtime catering business.
Their target market was local businesses and individuals based in the Loughborough area and so required a method to restrict any order to applicable local individuals.
They decided to appoint a full service design and marketing agency, Newcastle based Urban River to raise the profile of the organisation by creating a new brand identity and mobile-friendly e-commerce website to help develop them hit the ground running.
The new brand identity has incorporated a fresh, clean and modern look suitable for the catering industry and appealing to potential customers.
With the new brand designed it was time to move onto the website, which has been built on a WordPress WooCommerce platform. WooCommerce incorporates a host of e-commerce features including user accounts, bespoke pricing, voucher deals and special offers.
With Love Lunch only delivering to the local Loughborough area, we had to come up with a way to prevent customer from outside their catchment from using the website. To do this we implemented a postcode lookup which checked potential clients postcodes against the ones Love Lunch deliver to. Customers who wanted delivery in the applicable areas were allowed to register and place their orders.
It has an easy to use content management system which enables Love Lunch staff to update and amend the site without affecting the design and build.
