Newcastle web design agency Urban River was approached to develop a complete set of marketing materials for the ICOGP to put them in front of a global audience.
The project consisted of developing a brand identity, associated printed and online literature, a membership based website all wrapped up with a marketing campaign to generate awareness and paid for membership through online promotion.
Taking a global market into account and the overall business model, the key to the success of ICOGP lay in the creation of an informative and functional website. Following extensive planning and mapping out, an effective user experience was developed and Urban River set about designing and building a website which was not only well designed, but which encompassed an extensive range of functionality.
The site promotes a range of paid for membership options, the ability to set up and pay for a profile within a searchable directory, to include imagery, CV, experience, publications and embedded social media for specific individuals all aimed at creating greater exposure.
The new website rapidly became the leading resource for the industry and attracted members from across the world. The approach to search engine optimisation and social media advertising generated extensive levels of traffic to the website.
