TTR Barnes are a very well established, medium sized independent firm of Chartered Accountants.
Looking to raise their head above the parapet and develop an overall marketing strategy, they approached marketing agency Urban River to deliver a complete rebrand, with a brief of being not too “out there” yet modern and professional.
We started by overhauling the existing brand which had been around for the past 10 years, didn’t really mean anything and used a Times New Roman font. Developing this into a more modern look with a lower case font, introducing a contrasting colour and a link with the old using stacked coins the new identity was complete.
An identity was subsequently rolled out across range of print based deliverables with a new website to follow.
By identifying specific services, client types and individuals within the practice, Urban River mapped out a clear structure for the new website and one which would enable users to access relevant content in the shortest possible time.
The website was built using WordPress which has provided TTR Barnes with the ability to update and amend the website without any technical knowledge. Typically, 70% of web traffic in the UK is accessed through a smart phone and so it was important that the site was built responsively.
A range of easily identifiable service based icons were introduced to aid navigation both on and offline.
The re-brand has been well received so much so that Urban River was approached to re-brand their financial services sister company.
